So much concrete, and how will it be kept clean enough for people to sit on it? Will there be seating other than the concrete steps (I hope)? And greenery, will there be plants, grass, trees in this park? Also it doesn't seem to be very ADA friendly 😕

Are the ampitheater like seats in the pictures where the overlook walk comes down? I just hope there isn't a new structure separating Alaskan Way from Elliot Bay. I hate the big concrete walls that block off Elliott Bay by the Fitzgerald fountain. Also, this seems like a great opportunity to get the Duwamish and other native people involved in the waterfront.

King County was originally named for William Rufus DeVane King, a senator from Alabama elected U.S. vice president the year of his death in 1853. In 1986 the County officially changed its eponym to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Sep 4, 2006

Things are a challenge all over the world with homelessness, drug,s high cost of living high, cost of homes etc. If you don't like it change it or move. Make the best of what you have.

Did you know this was all native?

I LOVE my city.

I knew of the fact. Not the when. I don’t do many historical dates.

I did that a few years ago. I had a blast with sister Bette Russo.

Yes king county wasn't named after Martin Luther King. They just his likeness since the Martin Luther king day started

$$$$$$$$ it cost too much to live in Seattle WTH

Yes I knew that plus it's too cold to be out in the water of anything right now..

That's the price you pay to be the king

Shithole of Washington State !!!

Cruise to Seattle and get robbed! Don't worry though, the courts will let the robber go and if you get really lucky you won't be assaulted on your way into the courthouse. 😂
